About Us
Mature Options is a care management practice and licensed home care agency, owned and operated by professional nurses. Founded in 1991 in Richmond, VA, we provide services for private pay clients located throughout central Virginia.
Debbie Repp, RN, MPA, CMC
Debbie, CEO and owner, joined Mature Options after a distinguished career in trauma nursing, disaster management and public policy development. Debbie holds a Diploma in Nursing, a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. She was previously a board member and public policy chair for NAPGCM. She is a frequent speaker at CCM conferences in the area of business management.
Tricia Cushnie, BSN, MEd, CMC
Tricia Cushnie, COO and owner, has extensive experience in health care management as a senior executive and consultant. She has held leadership positions on a number of non-profit boards in the Richmond area. Tricia received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the Medical College of VA and a Master of Education Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a graduate of the Johnson & Johnson Wharton Fellows Program in Management for Nursing. Tricia is an active member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers.
Angie Phelon, BA, MS
Angie Phelon, CAO, has served as a Nursing Home Administrator for over nine years and has extensive experience in the field of long-term care. Angie holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Services and Psychology from Elon University and a Master’s Degree in Gerontology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Ann Igou, RN, MSN
Ann Igou, Clinical Director of Home Care Services, is a geriatric nurse specialist, with 22 years of experience in geriatric nursing in acute and long-term care settings. Ann holds a Diploma in Nursing from Brenau College, a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Carolina, and a Masters Degree in Nursing Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is certified in gerontological nursing by the American Nurses Association. Ann is active in several professional organizations committed to improving services for seniors.
Elizabeth Kirkland, LCSW
Elizabeth is an experienced mental health professional who works with clients and their families to address complex behavioral issues. As an experienced case manager and therapist, Elizabeth can help individuals and families respond to crises, develop a plan of care to help stabilize the situation, and identify community resources for ongoing care and support. Her education includes a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Winthrop University, as well as a Master of Social Work and Certificate in Aging Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a dynamic speaker, and can address many issues related to behavioral health and aging.
