Care Coordination Services - FAQ
Do you have someone on-call 24 hours a day?
Yes. If you are purchasing care coordination services without home care, you may enroll in our 24-hour emergency on-call service for a monthly fee.
Does my family member need to sign a HIPPA release before a care manager or care coordinator can take her to a physician appointment?
Yes. Although Mature Options is not a HIPPA-regulated agency, physician offices are. Physician office personnel will require evidence that their patient or the patient’s POA has given permission for us to receive and/or provide medical information.
Are Mature Options personnel allowed to drive my family member’s car? What insurance coverage is in effect?
Yes, our staff may drive your family member’s car. Mature Options provides insurance coverage for a staff member to drive a client’s car or for a client to be transported in a car provided by a Mature Options employee.
Do you employ home repair and/or home maintenance workers?
No. Mature Options recommends home repair and maintenance personnel based on references from trusted sources, including the Better Business Bureau. Clients and/or their agents contract directly for needed services.
