  • I keep my mother's refrigerator well stocked and I visit her at least two times a week, but I often find spoiled food on the counter. She keeps getting thinner. I don't know what to do.

Our doctor told me my parents cannot live safely by themselves. I've heard such awful stories. I promised I'd never put them in a nursing home. I don't know what to do.

My mother fell and broke her hip. The hospital just called; she'll be discharged in two hours. She lives alone. I don't know what to do.

I just found a notice that the electricity is going to be cut off for failure to pay the bill. Mom seems so overwhelmed by financial issues since Dad died, but she won't let me help sort things out. I don't know what to do.

Dad is too frail to care for the house and yard. I'm so afraid he is going to fall and hurt himself. I don't know if he would accept help, and I don't know how to find someone reliable. I don't know what to do.
